The day has almost slipped away before I could post this, but "no worries," plenty of favorites to share FOR SURE today....

In fact, one of my "favorite" shops is Coldwater Creek ~ I love to peruse their latest catalogue or surf their site to see what might be new, finding their colors, designs, and textures refreshing and unique. So, when I can find a Coldwater Creek sale + free shipping + my yet-to-be-used gift card from Christmas (Thanks, Hannah! ♥), I can't resist what I think is quite the deal! Here are the "Friday Favorites" that came in the mail today!

• "Spring Blooms" Necklace and Earrings are DONE and ready to be listed (tonight or tomorrow!!) in the Etsy shop. While SignatureSterling at Etsy continues to be my strong home base, I have been exploring different artisan venues this year - 1000 Markets, ArtFire - and now I'm so pleased to have "opened doors" at WinkElf, a smaller, but "boutique-minded" site that's easy to navigate and presents a wonderful assortment of quality items for shoppers. You'll be seeing more items added to the WinkElf boutique in the days ahead, but for now, this is the "debut" necklace waiting for you there!

FRIDAY FAVORITES

The sun is shining, the sky is blue with white clouds dancing, and I am now "Mimi Sue." It is a Friday to remember, indeed. What a week of wondrous joy...and a week to celebrate in gratitude. My "Friday Favorites" come easily and certainly make me smile.

First, one of my favorite pictures of new granddaughter Abigail who apparently is most contented with her hands in prayerful contemplation :-)...

Next, not sure if this is exactly what Andrew looked like when he finally got the news that he was officially an uncle, but I was thrilled that the Tanzanian phone lines were up and going this morning so that I could have a great chat with him ~ he is so very excited and looks forward to printing off many pictures next weekend when he is in Moshe (actually I'm going to send him prints and hope they reach him first). He also gave me a wonderful update on his village projects - they are establishing bio-intensive gardens to take advantage of every precious drop of rainwater as they develop their crops. Things are moving quickly and going well ~ he's very encouraged and sounds happy.

I am hoping to see Gran Torino soon, and a friend had shared this link to a tribute to the film's music ~ incredible! Definitely a favorite from the week to share with you!

Finally, I've been "thinking pink" all week as we've welcomed Abigail and certainly as I look through my shops I do have "favorites" there as well.

PRETTY IN PINK

26 days and counting! :-) We celebrated yesterday by having the "final" baby shower for Sarah, themed appropriately, "Pretty in Pink," with lots of the designated color present ~ in gifts, decorations, apparel, and food. "Pink" was the "word" of the day. Guests included family and friends for a wonderful afternoon of hysterical games (Nicole, where do you come up with some of these?? "Break Your Baby's Water!"), great stories ("Bubbles and Suds"), delicious food (if you haven't tried out the new cake bakery in town ~ The Ribbon Box ~ make it a must do!), and most importantly, a showering of love on our favorite mama-to-be.

This new necklace and pair of earrings were inspired by our "Pretty in Pink" fun this weekend ~ and as I wait for the arrival of my first granddaughter, this may be the beginning of a new collection! Wait and see!

What a Game!

What can I say....yes, we lost. But, watching our Buckeye Seniors in the post-game, you couldn't help but be proud to be a part of "Buckeye Nation" and not be "totally" immersed in the loss. It was not the season we expected, but like a true scarlet and gray fan, I stand behind my OSU team, proud of the "to the last second" plays and as always, saying...."Just wait until next year!" :-)

First Snow

It's snowing! Our first one ~ and it's not a wimpy, spitting, oh, let me thing about it, maybe I'll just be a flurry snow....it's that beautiful puffy, floating - you're in the middle of a snow globe - snow...I could sit here curled up on the sofa and watch it all afternoon.
