Featured Etsy Artist - Indigo Luna

When you first arrive at Indigo Luna, Etsy artist, Rachel Kitterman “greets” you with the words, “I have always been an artist. I have always drawn, cut, pasted, painted, collected, sewn, written and dreamed.” After a wonderful stroll through her shop, it is clear to see the talent of this artist, manifested in so many forms. I was immediately struck by the colors, textures, and inspiration of each piece.

Rachel explains that her life feeds her art. As a sign language interpreter, an energy worker, a minister, blogger, wife and mother, she finds that all of these roles serve to shape, change, and inform her art. She also writes passionately of her home, Oregon, and the close ties she feels to the land and nature which surrounds her. Again, you will find this influence clearly reflected beautifully in her art.

A member of Etsy’s EarthPath Artisans Street Team (E.A.S.T.), Rachel’s work has been featured in the 2005 Quilting Arts Calender, Artella Magazine, Art/Quilt Magazine, Fiberarts Design Book 6, as well as in many juried shows.

Indigo Luna promises to be “inspiration for your art and soul.” Take time for a leisurely visit soon, and I know you’ll find that to be true.
